I guess it pretty much IS here
Yesturday I pulled out my Raptor, Silver Eagle I reconditioned it (yes yes I know it's not the greatest gun but remember... I am poor)

Besides it's not the gun the makes the soldier! but it helps

I was just wondering, does anyone have an extended barrel for a Raptor that they'd part with? or does anyone know how I can make an extention for my barrel? I think my barrel is 12 inches, want to get maybe another 6 on that....
It's just not as accurate as I'd like it to be, but then I get into the whole, it may be less accurate after I "try" to mod the barrel...
anyway, post your gun and leave some tips !!

I got a brass eagle avenger. Came with a custom barrel already....but its not the greatest
I just got used to aiming up a little higher and my shots are dead on. I still gotta get a 20oz tank (still using a cheapie 9oz)
as for tips.....
shoot them before they shoot you.
shooting your teammates in teh back is funny only the first few times
make sure you always keep a few extra tubes on you that HAVE paintballs in them
If you plan on sliding, watch out for tree stumps and rocks
Kneepads are always a + +
If you cant take the pain of getting hit by a paintball....then your in the wrong sport
But on another question, what do you wear when you play paintball. Both clothing wise and camo wise.
I wear a pair of ripped up blue jeans (carpenter jeans, so i get extra room), and a green short sleeve t-shirt with a desert storm colored bandanna. Thats it. No kneepads, no other camo.

I like to stick with the neon green/pink colors

Screw the camo

Man, I always wanted to do this. I even bought a set of 10 (maybe 20) tickets to Paintball Chicago that included the entrance fee, gun, 500 paintballs & protective gear.. STILL never got to use em. And that was, ohhh, 5 years ago or so.
You guys put together a PCA paintball-o-rama mind if I take along? I'd like to get addicted to something good for me hehe.

hey judg3, if you are planning on comming to the PCA lan, there is a paintball place like 5 minutes away. I went last time....it was pretty good
although I dont agree with buying house paintballs, rather use my own cause they are higher quality

lol I meant tips for makin a barrel for my gun
but thanks for the actual tips

lol
I painted my gun forrest Green and added some camo black and brown *really nice for games in tall grass and trees and such* I also painted my PMI helmet to match the gun. As for clothing a green Eskimos hoody with a brown pair of cords and my green Filas
and that's it, no pads or gloves, too much bulk *although it does hurt gettin it in the fingers from a Tipman...*
I bought a laser pointer and I'm trying to rig up some sort of a laser sight

*200 foot range*
Not that I am going to use it, but it's just a mod
I'd like to get a bunch of people together to have a massive PB war, that would be awesome. SO if anyone wants to work on gettin an early spring match together (would be a weekend/week thing) we can throw that idea around for awhile

I have already played 3-4 times this year.
Here is my Tippmann A-5 with a 17" Stone Cold II barrell.
A friend of mine bought this field this year.

now that is f'in cool !
that's a sweet ass gun to Megavectra! Musta set you back some coin

I think if I can make enough cash in the first couple months of my new job (pay off my credit card) then I'll buy a new gun (on my credit card)

More then likely a tipman
a couple of my friends have em, and they kick ass. Great power, great accuracy. makes my raptor seem like a pussy cat

at least, they way it was shooting last year... gonna have to try it out and see how well it works this year

ha, you wish
i suggest kneepads cuase it hurts like hell when you slide on your knees.....only to hit a tree stump or rock or something you didnt see.
and as for gloves, I use a fingerless padded gloves. Great protection to top of hands, with none of the interfearing finger parts

I'm too poor for cool things like...gloves or a barrel squegee

I'll save a few bucks and take the hit...
besides, if it were a bullet, it'd hurt alot more. lol Not to mention it gives an added insentive NOT to get hit
and hey, anybody know what kind of a barrel will fit on a Raptor?? I have heard rumors that Spyder barrels will fit on some Brass Eagle guns....
I want to get a 16" or 18" but I don't know where I can find one. Help?
