Hmmm.... can you say fake?
I'm not sure, but think about it. WHY would you ask someone to call your wife and tell her you were caught cheating on her? Telling her you were fired, yeah, but cheating? Why even give her the idea?
How is that even funny (from the husband's point of view)?
Even forgetting the final remark she made, she was going to trash his stuff.
Funny yes, but I don't think it's real.

Actually, FP has a good point. About nine years ago, there was a recording of a 911 call about some dork who hit a deer with his car, thought he had killed it, and put it in the back seat of his car. The deer regains consciousness, bites him, and starts kicking the (bleep) out of his car. So he needs 911 to send him a bambulance. And some dog then attacks him cuz it wants to get to the deer. Lots of radio stations aired it.
Funny as hell, but it was later revealed to be staged (i.e. fake)
BTW, Frampton Comes Alive was recorded in a regular old studio, not in an arena, by some musician nobody had ever heard of before.
