Anyone think T3 will be worth a damn?

I - imho - think it's sad for Arnie to cling on to his biggest hit... Does anyone think T3 is going to be good?

I think Arnie still has little charisma left in his acting career. I will recommend director after T3 stop making sequels. In my opinion most sequels ruin the original story line.

:D

Cameron didn't want anything to do with T3, if that's any indication.

From what I've read, some of the ideas do look interesting though. And FX maestro Stan Winston seems very pleased, with his part of it anyway.

And T4, they already said will also be made. Obviously they are thinking T3 is going to be a huge hit.

I admit it, I'll be seeing T3. :D But I agree arnie just doesn't have the same magic anymore.

And the original Terminator was crushed in the first movie. In each Terminator movie he plays a different one. No stretch of the imagination on that. :)

I have to agree that Arnold isn't as dynamic on the screen as he once was but his association with the movie, in the public's eye, makes him vital to it's success.

I think the movie will be a success, if for no other reason it's past reputation. :D

yes they melted the arm and burned the chip
BUT!

in part 2 the terminater left a mangeled arm in a gear at the metal processing plant
and the chip was in fact CHIPPED!
so there is an arm and a peice of the chip still someplace ;)

I really hope that this'll be a good movie even though it's true that Arnie isn't the youngest anymore ;)

I really hope it's good too, it would be a shame to ruin the memory of the previous 2 classics... (like what they did to the original "The Crow", argh!)

It sounds pretty silly to me. The plot is about a terminator who can control anything electronic, right? That is stupid. A visit ot the local sears would give the terminator a small army.

I may go see it when it comes out. I am thinking I'll probably just way for the DVD.

poop... have you ever seen Terminator? I think you are thinking of Short Circuit. He can't control anything electronic. But, i don't think T3 is worth watching, dispite the fact i'm a fan of the Terminators'. Lets look at some facts.

1.) Different Director

2.) Arnold is a senior citizen

3.) T2 is unbeatable

Welcome back poop

Hopefully T3 will be good and Arnie will have one more blockbuster.

vin Diesel is the new action hero. Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Willis and company are too old.

sbp: Thanks. It's nice to know someone recognized me, hehe.

matt: I've seen both Terminator movies. I just heard somewhere that in T3, the bad guy is actualy a female terminator who can control electronic things. In fact, I think I heard that in some thread here in the movies forum. I could be wrong, but I do know the idea sounds silly to me.

Willis is getting the offers but has been refusing them. Since before The 6th Sense he said he is no longer interested in doing action movies. He's refused doing Die Hard 4 at least 3-4 times and after Sept. 11 he said "no more Die Hard movies".

He wants to do mostly "acting" movies and comedies. He's already making The Whole 9 Yards 2.

But I hope he changes his mind. He is my favorite by far.
