It's like the phone company and caller ID. First they sell us caller ID, then they sell the solicitors a way to block it, then they sell us advanced caller id to beat that, then they sell solicitors a way to beat advanced caller ID.

No better than friggin' arms dealers selling to both sides in a civil war... :p

I don't think it keeps your web filters from working, it just detects that you are using web filters, logs you, and/or blocks you from viewing certain pages.

"Features of AntiAdBlocker™
Detects all known ad blocking software (more than 30 top ad blockers tested).
Detects users who block ads with proxy ad blockers.
Detects users who block ads with software that changes web content.
Detects users who use popup ad blockers or popup auto-closers (not supported in AntiAdBlocker™ Lite).
Detects users who turn off JavaScript so your banners won't be display.
Detects users who turn off session cookies. Without session cookies, your advertisers can't serve ads correctly and you lose money.
Detects users using site rippers that are trying to download your entire site.
Logs all attempts and failures in a detailed log file. (not supported in AntiAdBlocker™ Lite)
Uses a sophisticated 128-bit rotating public key along with a unique private key so cracking the script is basically impossible.
Can be used on every page or certain key pages with a simple one line installation.
Checks for ad blockers multiple times if user stays on your site. The time between checks is user-adjustable and random.
Written in blazing fast PHP (most hosting companies and servers support PHP). "

REALLY. Web sites need to wise up and get rid of pop-ups and (WORSE!) those annoying flash ads that take over your browser.

It's like those game file download sites that force you to download and install their P2P app to download files. NO THANKS. If I can't download it directly via HTTP or FTP, I'm not interested. I don't need their buggy (and probably Spyware infested) download app, thank you very much.

Fools. I don't mind a banner, I'll look at a banner and might buy something in one, but I can assure you I'll NEVER buy a product in a pop-up ad.

So you would never buy the amazingly tiny wireless promise-to-get-you-good-porn X2 cam? :D ;)
