yea. its gotta be the points. I know that they are probbly shot. That and i think the alternator is going... cause as i was on the last leg of the trip the lights started getting dim. but every onece in a while they would flash full brightness. So that leads me to believe that its that voltage adjustmet thingy on the aleternator is durty and not making good contact so its regulating the voltage at like 6 volts or somthing. so ill go turn that and see if thats it. As far as the points are cocerned, i think its a little more then just burnt up or maladjusted. while driving at 55 i can let off a little and the tack (whihc is now electronic and not cable drivin) drops by about a 1000 and also the enginge sounds like its missing. step on the gas some more and it jumps back up and everything is good again. so somthing is serriously messed up with them other then them being burnt. I thikn it may have somthing to do with the vacuume advance. regardless, im just gonna scratch the points all together and get HEI for it. I think Petronics makes a drop in kit for it. so ill just save 70 dollars and get one and get it done wiht.

to tony: I dont even see that box you decribed. I did chage that crap on a different board that uses the same prog. but ill look again. and i still havent recieved any emails yet pretaining to new post or replys.

What motor you have in the bus? If ya stick with the points make sure the condensor is good.

I looked through all the pics so far I could find. About 7 pages.

I've got a crappy modem conection here, but the pics don't take too long to download. Most look pretty good too. Haven't tried printing any yet, but probly will in a few days.

Have you got most of them online now, or do you still have more to go?

Ok, I had missed the link for http://www.dangin.net/pca/pcalan2002/ somehow. I had seen the AVI's, but missed the pics.

I'll look through those too. Darned modem connection is lousy today so far though. Took about a minute to load this post page. Maybe latter tonight I'll get a better conection??

Well I was happy to attend the PCA lan party. Been running around all summer. 3 trips to Ohio, 1 to Texas, and one trip to the lan party. Thought I might get to stay home and relax this weekend and not go anywhere. WRONG!!!

Last weekend at Silver Dollar City for some Scooby Doo thingy they are doing. As you might recall from the party, Brianna is kinda on a Scooby kick. So hi ho hi ho off to Brason, MO I go!!

Leaving here Friday night for a fun weekend running around AGAIN!

Of course the side of the bus facing the public was the one that we tryed to remove the letters on. Ist sposed to be "Porter County". Now i know why that damned reflective tape is so expensive, every photo of it that stuff is bright as day! To do the lettering alone, simply to put LOTL on both sides, will cost about 80 dollars.

Im in the land where the internet barely exist, so i didnt go through all them pics yet.
