Given the right context almost anything can be considered offensive and derogatory.

The big question is where is this going to stop? What type of country are we going to end up with if this continues-a bland one where no one can say anything unless its approved.

Okay, in all fairness let's pull Porky Pig cartoons also because they're insulting to people who stutter (oh, excuse me, people with a speech impediment).

As the article mentioned, Pepe LePeu should also be pulled because it promotes stalking and forced sexual advances.

Lose any Bugs Bunny cartoons with mobster stereotypes because - even if they all sound like Edward G. Robinson - they're probably insulting to Italian Americans.

Lose the Roadrunner, Tom & Jerry, and just about every remaining cartoon because they promote gratuitous violence.

Maybe some of us are older thus see most of todays popular prime time shows differently BUT if one watches, listens to the content of most of what's now shown, I really fail to see why anyone could have problems with 40-50+ yr old cartoons. It's past being rediculous IMO.

Thats it i'm finding a new country to live in... The US has to be so :ping politcally correct all the time it absolutely makes me :ping sick... ITS A CARTOON FOR CHRIST SAKE!!! I'm so glad that some people have nothing better to do that sit on their fat asses and bitch about a god damn cartoon... Why don't we just ban all shows on TV no better yet lets just ban TV, no no no, just ban people from talking all together since anyone can find anything that someone says an offensive ethnic stereotype. That should stop all the bullshit don't ya think... Naa cause there's be those who'd still speak out against that... Its a never ending cycle of bullshit that will only continue to get worse... I'm glad i'll be dead in the next 50 - 60 years...
