I was banned the first time cause the MODS thought my brother's handle and mine was the same.
Banned me but somehow I was still allow to post.

This time around(I guess I just found out why), got banned cause of this thread:

Geez, honest mistake there. I was merely point out to the guy that someone was looking for him.
Did I call him a TROLL ?? Um...NO. Even apologized for it.

What a bunch of TURDS...LOL.

So how many times have you been banned and why ?? I'm guessing Nexus is #1 over there.

Lets face it, as much as I hate most of the @ss-kissing turds over there, its the best place to move your product.

Never been banned. Then again I never go there. I use that place as a last resort and when I do go there, it's only in the FS/FT forum. Place moves a little quick for my tastes, but you're more likely to get what you have sold....

Got the boot once (well twice if you count me reregistering and bitching about it). No reason given...no e-mail sent, no PM sent. Gave some thought to reregistering with a different name (maybe Noodlebutt or something ) but nah.

Looks like both a mistake and a knee-jerk reaction. Thing to remember is they have a LOT of jackasses to look over, and some of the non-jackasses get caught in the crossfire.

It might have been smarter to edit your first post with a retraction and link delete instead of adding a post. Maybe the modz have a hard time reading further before passing judgement (I'm assuming by edit and post times). Really, your first post might give some people the impression that one guy looks bad, while it's actually a different guy.

Everyone I know, I tell them about Anandtech. And I tell them to lurk for awhile, get to know the board before posting...otherwise, they may get ripped to shreds. Otherwise, decent place to go for computer info, deals, etc. Naturally, most of them don't bother posting after that warning

LOL. I wear my crown Proudly. I think I am the only person to be banned as many times as me yet still have my Origonal name reinstated. The only places I post there are the coolin, cases, and ocing areas. Usually with links to reviews done here or to a pca like threw to KDC. Is that f'ed up or what. HA! oh yea, I replied in that thred. LOL nexus_7 is gana get Rebanned. lets see someone top my track record. LOL oh and then I refreshed the page about 800 times...gata spend there $$ some how.

the question is...Does anyone remember why I was baned the first time?

Haven't ever bothered to register over there. Didn't see the point when so many people end up arguing with each other and bickering. Would be too afraid about getting ripped off over there with the sheer number of people and how many of them could be trolls and no one knows. While here I know I can sell/buy something and not have any issues (while it may just take a little longer to sell)......everyone is like family here. (in fact, I have met some of the people from PCA in PERSON and it seems like we have known each other for ages!) Most of the time everyone respects each other's opinion........swearing/telling dirty jokes are ok.......just as long as we are careful with our babe threads.......

First of all that thread had no business being in that Forum.Personally I think that all threads that have nothing to do with a sale or a warning about a troll should be locked. Most there are good traders and I don't think knocking another members thread down a spot everytime someone posts in one of those threads just to confierm what most of us know is fair.

Secondly, that was obviously an honest mistake my Golfreak. To be banned after you apoligized in another post in that thread is a case of someone overreacting. I would suggest that you not post there anymore with a new name because from what I've seen that only upsets them more and might cause you to get a permanent ban. I know, the place is full of Kiddies and Idiots but the sheer volume that moves in the For Sale Forum there makes being able to post there a necessity if you are into Trading and buying used parts.

IMHO , it was an honest mistake by golfreak , and he apologized and stated that . The problems seems to be the mods over there lack common sense . Sometimes they try to "over moderate" the forums and cause more harm than good . If you don't want to be banned you have to play their little game . It sucks that enough of the good traders with common sense don't come over here and trade and not fool with that crap . Stuffs do move fast , but is it really worth the crap you have to contend with (theives , jerks , overly sensitive mods , etc ) ? I might be on my way to my first banning


Wish more good traders would post their stuffs here to trade . Thanks PCA guys and gals that do trade here !

I PM'd the Mods regarding GF's ban and the one who responded seems to agree that his ban was a mistake. Let's see if they rectify the situation before we condem them for being totally clueless.

Nitro, there are so many traders there these days that I haven't the foggiest who many of them are. Luckily my past Record enables me to usually have them pay first so I'm not too worried about getting ripped off. But if I were fairly new I'd be extremely wary about trading there. Still, when considering the huge volume of trading that goes on there, the theiving Trolls don't seem to be to prevelent. One thing for sure, there definately isn't the comradarie that we had at the old AGN and is the best aspect of PCA's Trading Forum.

AGN3D forums had gone down for the first time {temporarily for a few days} in mid-Aug 2000 so a lot of AGNers assembled at Anands. An AGN3Der said something to a certain nef {who has been banned from Anands more times than most forums have members}. One of the mods got huffy and puffy about someone saying anything to his favorite nef so the AGN3Der got banned. This led to a mistaken identity banning where the Anandtech mod banned another AGN3Der. The mod thought this was the first banned AGN3Der coming back under another name. Ah yeah the two AGN3Ders were well known to be different people and were not even using the same ISP's-not even close.

By the time the whole situation was done and the Anandtech mod admitted he messed up, more AGN3Ders including yours truly had gotten the heave-ho. blade and Red Dawn had gotten involved and even chastised the Anandtech mod.

My highlight of the next day was getting an email from the mod calling me a "lying pos" and to "just stay away". You can imagine that mod just waving his hands around frantically. <img src="http://www.pcabusers.net/forums/images/icons/lol.gif">

The really ironic thing about this is the person who originally said the comment to nefson is selling at Anands.

Red, thanx for the back-up, the MOD actually emailed me and unbanned me.
I need to stop meddling in threads that doesn't concern me and just stick to trading
Stay out of trouble that way.
And I still think there is way too much @ss-kissing over there.

So what did you get banned the first time for Nexus ?? There's too many times, I can't remember them all

I said the word "jew". There was this huge thred making fun of best buy. people were swearing up a storm and calling them all sorts of names. so I said, I believe there name is best jew not best buy. and i get banned.

then there were the multipale times Red and I went at it and a certain mod didnt like me so he would ban me name after name. that was fun. I was nexus - nexus_12 I think.
