I dunno...
I was told Akira...
Then Spriggan ...
Then Ninja Scroll...
Then Oh! My Godess...
At the moment... I would definately have to stay with my all time favorite...
Evangelion...
Never got into DBZ... or Sailor Moon...
Just whatever I come across on Kazaa or Morpheus...
I dunno...
Anything else thats really good?
Watched a few Gundams over
Kaworu's house...
Saw Macross Plus (really liked that one)
Vampire Hunter D was pretty good...
Whats the best????
Something that is unbelievably awsome....
Princess Mononoke (however you spell that) was great.
Street Fighter Alpha was pretty good...
Street Fighter 2 was better than alpha... (only because it was more revealing of Chun-Li)
even had a little Cammi-White....
I mean but seriously... These were all great... But anything else...
Ghost in the Shell was ,in my opinion, OK.....
But I would of liked to see a 2nd out of it....
hrmmm....
X was pretty good...
I dunno! I like the longer animes....
Watched a little Cowboy Bebop.... That caught my attention pretty well...
But right now...
Besides Evangelion...
I would go with Ninja Scoll and Spriggan ...
Slayers wasn't me....
There is a Final Fantasy anime... that probably was alright.... didn't see it though...
ADV has tons of Anime Dvds...
I dunno! I dunno! I dunno!
I used to watch alot of Monster Rancher... very nice...
Loved the big eye ball guy
Whadda you guys think?

Glad you brought up some that i've never saw...
Record of lodoss war...
is that the one where all those rings are used as a weapon????
or is that something else?
I'll have to go check those out
I highly reccommend (i can't spell either) "Spriggan"...
Spriggan (1998) - The most recent flick on this list and, not surprisingly, the one with the most spectacular animation. This movie is, in a blurb, Akira meets Metal Gear Solid. An expeditionary team discovers the remains of what appears to be Noah's Ark on a mountaintop in Turkey. A rogue paramilitary outfit wants it for their own purposes but they are opposed by the Arcam Corporation, an organization dedicated to finding and confiscating dangerous ancient artifacts from around the world. Arcam employs special agents known as Spriggan for espionage and sends in one of them, Yu Ominae, to secure the Ark. Of course, the paramilitary team has special agents of their own. Unlike anime features that have enjoyed success on the art house circuit, Spriggan doesn't spend much time philosophizing about anything. It's unapologetically filled with action and, for that reason, is poised to become the next Ninja Scroll. Things blow up, people get killed, and mass destruction reigns! Good stuff. I want a sequel. And don't fret about the fact that it hasn't made it to the USA yet because AD Vision plans a wide-release for this film in theaters in 2001. It's the anime equivalent of a good big-budget Hollywood flick and deserves to be seen on the silver screen.

Hay DOC if you like Kite check out Mezzo forte uncut.
Others for me:
Photon, the idiot adventures (if you like ammusing anime)
M.D. Giest (for the bloodynes)
8man after
and for multi disks:
Gasaraki
Esca Flowne
Trigun and cowboy bebop are both Great!
and the street fighter series.
Most the ones Doc mentioned are up there. Would argue with a few...but thats what opinions are for.
Lodoss war is kind of like the lord of the rings if you want to think of it that way...Major battles, strange group of people, on a misson.

Extreamly good.
And if you havent check out sputnik7.com

EVANGELION

Gonna have to agree with Kawrou that <b>Evangelion</b> was a great Anime.....with alot of stuff you learn after seeing it a second or third time. (very detailed and a heavy plot.......but watch the alternate versions of episode 25/26 [aka "End of Evangelion"]......they are soooooo much better than the originals and explain the whole series.)
<b>CCS</b> <i>(Cardcaptor Sakura)</i> (original, unedited, japanese version.....not the hacked up "Cardcaptors" american version) was a great anime too. (Yes, my favorite so far......and the original version is VERY different from the US version.....love interests [which actually moves the story along]......swearing.....even sometimes more violence [not blood of course]..........and alot more animated effects.) use this as an idea........there was originally 70 CCS episodes (and two movies.......which were also great).......the US number of episodes were a little more than HALF of that (sometimes they combined more than 1 episode into a half hour show they were so heavly edited, on top of that they dropped episodes altogether).......plus they started at episode 8 instead of 1!

Plus no movies in US.
<b>Cool Devices</b> (yea, hentai) is one of those that you watch just to get a change of pace. (<b>you know you liked it joe.......admit it!</b>)
<b>Revolutounary Girl Utena</b> <i>aka "Utena"</i> is also a great anime......though it gets very slow closer to the end......But the movie was GREAT! You must see it! (and you <b>can</b> see the movie without seeing the series and still be caught up......they run indepently of each other......all the characters are reintroduced.......actually the story was re-written.......but makes alot more sense in the movie.
My list of "anime watched" has grown 100-Fold since subscribing to Netflix. They are one of the best services out there (keep this in mind, when I was short on money.....I cancelled my cell phone instead of Netflix!)

If you like comedy then I suggest Love Hina. One of my favorites. 25 tv eps, 2 specials and 3 ova's. Tied with CCS as my all time favorite animes.
All around Card Captor Sakura (Japanese version) is good. 70 eps and 2 movies. I saw the one on tv and thought it was the stupid, and who would want to watch young kids getting cards. Then I watched the japanese version and was like "holy shiet, this didn't happen in the american one, it rocks" hehe. It's currently my most favorite anime, I'm just sad that there is no more. Wish they could continue it somehow.
If you like action with crazy powers then you'll like Read or Die. 3 eps only. All 3 eps were pretty kewl.
I watch all my anime in Jap + English subtitles. I don't know about you guys but I can't stand the english dubbed stuff, it sucks so hard.
I'd pretty much name everything in my collection but it's way too much so these 3 are what I recommend for now.
