Yeah I sent him the thunder.mism file. I have always used SmartRipper and never used Clad so I couldn't say it's the ripper's fault cause he did say that it worked before. Anyways glad ya got it working.

I've been trying to learn how to make good backups to my dvd's ever since my dog thought one I held in my hand was a new snack for him. Tried flask, virual dub, etc.. nothing seemed to work right. Maybe I just used the wrong settings, I don't know. Then I came across something called vidomi. Now by jove I can and make them look as well as the original dvd, almost. I use smartripper and then vidomi, it's real easy. Finally :)

i used flask, but i havent made one in a long while

reason being the ones that i make myself just dont turn out as good as the ones that i download

as in, there's more ... blockiness, like when there's alot of action on the screen

whereas the ones that are downloaded are smooth throughout the whole thing

I can't wait for the whole thing to encode... it takes too long... or maybe i'm just impatient :D

Blade (the movie) took me about 3-4 hours to convert. Amd 1.4 Ghz, 512MB RAM, WinXP. It was bigger than I thought (1 GB?!?!?!?!) but I think I had some messed up settings.
