Ok.....Today (Day after Thanksgiving in USA) is "Black Friday". (For anyone that wants to know where that term comes from, post the request here. It's actually Pretty interesting.)

I saw the boards have had pretty much NO activity today, and was wondering if some of you collected all your courage and went shopping today. (Braved the mass of people). How was your experience if you did? (Please tell me you didn't go shopping at 6am.... :argue )

I woke up @ 10:30, grabbed some cheerios, and immediately started playing my way through Q3A on hardcore. I've been sitting in front of my comp all day.

So, no, I didnt go shopping. Tomorrow

Got up at 4:45am, was at BestBuy by 5:15 Got a GF3 Ti200, Castle Wolfenstein, 110 pack of CD-Rs, and and XBox Wasn't Christmas shopping, just wanted to pick some things up for myself. Some people had been standing in line since 1am!! I was about #90 in line.

i meg d_b this morning @ 8am and afterwords i went to best buy and saw a line so I went home. went out later and picked up a few things actually jsut got back with the Trigun anime box set. That should keep me bussy for a while. I wil lgo out again later. but Most them people were actually Nice this year sofar as opposed to past black fridays when everyone was an ASS!

Thought I'd be smart and get to best but by 6am. Getting off the freeway I could see the line. I drove close to it and saw a real long line from the front door that seemed to snake around the parking lot it was so long. Needless to say I didn't wait around. That's madness. I hate waiting in line anyway but that is plain rediculous. You know everything you were wanting would be gone so why bother.

Then drove by staples, they had maybe 15-20 in line. Later went to compusa and they had everything you wanted there. Bad thing is there waasn't much you wanted,haha. Office Max naturally had no clue about the $39 cdrw and it was sold out online too.

Went out today and thought that I could get somthing good, couldn't get jack at bestbuy, circuit city and other major stores. All those good stuff and free stuff are gone before 11am. Worst special sales day ever.

stayed home all day My xmas shoppin was done several weeks ago Would have liked to got in on the bb deals,but me no likey gettin up early for that madness

I had to work at best buy today ; our store took almost one mill today...it was nuts just got off midnight.......I hate shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, my work somehow gave me off Black Friday, but I am working tomorrow instead. ('Till when? Who knows....I could be working everyday for weeks starting tomorrow.....it's too hard to tell.)

I hate crowds. Hell, I don't usually like any group of people bigger than 5-10.

I saw on the news that some lady got trampled at Wal-Mart. When the opened the doors, she was pushed down and got kicked and stepped on. They showed her with a doctor in the hospital getting treatment. She had a serious black eye.

This kind of stuff really sickens me. I guess the true meaning of Christmas is "Consume at all costs.", or maybe "Jesus who?"

Went to BB late afternoon hoping to score a DC and some good games..they had plenty of DC's but almost no good games left, so I just bought Return to Castle Wolf. However, my dad and I went shopping for home theater speakers saturday and sunday, and bought some really nice Mirage's (L&R, center). Pretty good weekend =)
