What I find more disturbing than what cocorice did is that foxbat POS... He's a moderator of one of the forums over there and he comes in and starts acting like a kid, name calling and telling people to leave the bbs if they don't like it. Call me crazy, but if I'm an admin of a bbs and I make someone a Mod, I'd expect them to act accordingly and set an example of how to conduct yourself. The Mod should always act better than everyone else, THATS WHY THEY'RE A MOD. I called him on it and his response is, "I don't moderate this forum" what an ass. If thats the example their own mods are setting then I can tell you I don't want anything to do with the place. And niether should anyone else.

its the one site that renovation is not a member becouse of all the trashing i see going on over there and if your price was a little hi or not if it dont get hits then you have the right to lower itor take it someware else dont crap on the guys thead ! and we all know this and if we know the guy we might email him or icq him and say so but we dont crap on him !stay home at pca greg and live in peace among family

Hi, I'm from 3dnow.net. Why are you guys judging us on just one incident?

I first found this board when I was deciding on whether or not to get a TNT2 vid card. These people helped me out on so much of my decision. They did benchmarks on their computers for me, they recommended brands to get, they stated incompadablities w/ certain chipsets, etc.

We did get a little somewhat mad because ya'll totally insulted our whole board. Would you guys not defend your board if some dude just started to totally insult you guys as a whole? Sure we have the occational flame wars, disagreements, etc, but what board doesn't? We are a very close knit board, yes I would go as far to say about as close as a family and we will defend each other. Wouldn't you?

A mistake was made, but then who doesn't make mistakes?

Tough call here, nexus sure wasn't very polite... actually i wasn't very fond of the language he used at all, not very mature... Franky you were WAY outta line with your comments... Maybe not with your first one, but the continued assult wasn't right...

but at the same time.. lets see, he could buy a newer and better laptop over at best buy for 40% MORE MONEY?!?!? lol, the shock of it all... thread crapper for sure..

Frankly they both just got into a pissing match and I had very little respect for how BOTH of them handeled themselves...

Although just so you know, it's not our intention to have a cross board war here. It's my hope that any other visitors we get from your board are as even headed as you are.

Yes nexus was a bit of overboard but even after cocrico was made aware of trading rules he still continued his outburts. Nexus had calmed down and then once again here comes cocorico mouthing off with more lameness demanding to prove how nice a guy he is and how innocent he is. And then a mod there comes in and acts like a total sissy. At least the one(PK I think) acted properly).

And that "nice guy' part. Yeah uh huh

Read his comments in that first thread. And then he starts that new thread saying "I tried to be nice" and how's he "just too nice of a guy" wanting other bbs members there to stroke his ego and make him feel better about himself.

He got his lame wish.

And what about his comment:

Why bother trading there guys. Is it worth the hassle. I agree with defending your own bbs but cocrico is like the energizer bunny, he keeps mouthing off and mouthing off with his increasingly lame comments.

I am sure most there are good people and many did post honest comments stating nexus did go overboard but cocorico did make a mistake too. And he's still crying about how he beleives he's right. And this from cocorico:

Nexus - foxbat did not start doing anything (except agree with cocorice) until you called him stupid. You did totally attack cocorice and foxbat didn't appreciate that. Him and coco have been there for a very long time and like I said said we are like a family over there and will defend each other fiercely. (I'm not saying that foxbat couldn't have been a little more calm in handling that though)

foxbat actually made a point that we are not a big fs/ft forum. It's a tech/OT forum. We didn't make rules because it is basically friends selling to friends. We trust each other a lot. I sold something and told the guy I sold my RAM to that I would not get the RAM to him in that much of a speedy manner. I'm sure that would not fly on any other board but it did at 3dnow.net because we trust each other. I got the RAM to him as soon as possible, he actually sent the money to me before I sent the RAM to him. Like I said, the thing I did probably wouldn't fly anywhere else but it can at 3dnow.net because we are very trusting toward each other.

Kakarot - Like I said in my other post, 3dnow.net is a good board if you would give it a chance. There is always good stuff happening there and the news person we have is ALWAYS updating the news page. The people there are very knowledgable and will help you out if it is within their power.

GraingerGuy- I'm sure 95% of the people at 3dnow.net are great people. But I refuse to go back there until Cocorice appologizes for his actions/or banned(and yes nexus stepped over the line a bit and should appologize for that too) and Foxbat is no longer a Moderator(not banned, just not a mod any more).

Reread my previous post in this thread to see my view of what a mod should be. Also, if you read in one of my posts in the original FS thread I stated that I wouldn't be back until those two above conditions are met.

You have to realize GraingerGuy, we may be "newbies" to 3dnow.net's bbs, but we've(most of us PCA regulars) been doing this bbs/trading thing for many years. We have a pretty good idea as to how it works. And for some joe shmoe at a small bbs who has done maybe a couple of trades at most and frequents ONE bbs(whether for trading or otherwise) to tell US how it is... well you get my point.

And they keep talkin about how trading over there is different because they're such a tight nit group. That they all trust each other etc... well what do you think this is here? Chopped Liver? One, we have half the amount of registered users here than 3dnow.net, and two we regulars here started at the original AGN3d/voodooextreme BBS, and have stayed together through 3-4 change overs in the bbs(one of those was AGN3D going outta business). If thats not family I don't know what is.

Most of us are also members at other BBS's too. Like Anandtech(which has over 40,000 registered members) and HardOCP(two of the bigger ones) etc. So we've been around the block when it comes to posting in a forum and online decorum. Visit our own FS forum. You won't see anything but a bunch of great traders acting professional. You don't see people crapping someones thread, complaining about prices etc. It does happen sometimes that someone will put something up forsale and ask too much for it. But they just keep dropping down as no one responds. The seller will get the point and drop the price or try to sell else where.

And even if it is OK to do that at 3dnow.net, FINE. But Cocorice didn't even do THAT right! He compare's Nexus's laptop to some COMPLETELY DIFFERENT laptop and say's he can get the OTHER laptop for 40% more money than what nexus is asking for his!? uhh ok, and the problem is? if you want the faster one then go pay 40% more. That and it didn't even look like Cocorice was interested in the laptop in the first place. He was just posting some apples to oranges comparison to be a mr know-it-all or something.

Kakarot - I'm not saying that you guys are not a tight knit forum...........but you guys have a lot of sellers who are very experienced at the whole selling/trading thing. I don't think that we are.....the only one we have/had (I don't know if he's going to sell stuff over there anymore) is Nexus. So far we have not had a trader/seller there that would completely cheat us out of some money.

Yes you guys do have half the members we have but not that many people post over at 3dnow.net. There are a select people who actually post a lot and that was what I was saying. Maybe 20-30 people are the main posters there and that's about it.

That said, I don't think what cocorice did was very good either but if I based what a lot of you guys did over there and judged this forum on that, I would not have a very high opinion of this forum either. The fact is that I have given this forum a chance and so far just in one day I do like it..........maybe you would find that you like 3dnow.net also.
