Here's a pic of the plane on china's hainan island:

Notice where the damage is, how can it be the fault of the lumbering usa plane if the damage happened in front. Oh I know, we were tailgating the fighter so the chinese fighter pilot slammed his brakes.

Well, after viewing the picture, it is obvious to me that the US is totally at fault.

I mean, with such a fearsome aircraft flying so close to China, it is clear to me that they were looking for trouble with a fighter. A fully armed, jet powered fighter plane has no chance against this beast.

According to the picture and news(non-US news), this is what really happened...

The Chinese planes were on top/bottom of the spy plane warning it that it's entering China, the American spy plane refused to move first, so the chinese planes move close and giving them more warnings. Then suddenly the US plane did a nose dive, knocking the bottom Chinese plane to the sea. That's why you can see the damages are at the bottom of the spy plane. The spy plane have to do a landing because it also cracked it fuel tank (which is located at the bottom(belly) of the plane).

Note: I did not bad mouth US, it's the fact that I am writing, ok? So don't flame me... :)

IN MY OPINION: The US would've done the same if this happened to them. So there isn't much to argue about...

2 probs with that story, coco...

First, that is not a fuel tank, that is a radar dish.
Second, why would the plane purposefully hit a chinese craft? Seriously, look at history and count how many fights the US has purposefully picked.

btw, nice member status :)

The fuel tank is also located at the bottom... and they did crack it... and they have to land because to don't have enough fuel to go back.

I HEARD THEM ON THE NEWS, SO DON'T BLAME ME!!!

I like the new status too. :lol

Non us news, have a link? It better backs up what you say. ;) Anyway that sounds like something coming from china as they are blaming everything on us, or another anti us country. Why would either plane purposely cause a mid air collision? It's ludicrous to even think that because both could crash from any mid air bump. Oh, the us plane "did a nose dive". What about the fighter was possibly caught in the bigger planes slipstream and bumped it or even either plane hit windshear. Of course that isn't even an option from the chinese thinking.

A big plane like that doesn't move near as quickly as the nimble fighter. The thinking that the large plane caused the crash purposely sounds really stupid. Why were the fighters that close to begin with? They may have tried getting too close and didn't realize how close till it was too late.

<< The US would've done the same if this happened to them. So there isn't much to argue about... >>

As for *your opinion*, again you have zero facts to back that up. So yes there is something for argument. It still sounds like you're making comments out of hatred for us.

Well... I am reading both side of the news, and it seems that it's really hard to say who's right and who's wrong.

It's an accident... that's all I can say about it... maybe they should consult an insurance company, they'll know what to do! :lol

Well come on now, america would never say it was thier fault, even if it really was, just like china...we'll never know for sure. Not taking china's side but they arn't the only country to lie to thier people.

The arrogance fo the average American regarding our military is staggeringly dumbfounding. :(

darkheart's right about one thing, them holding the americans in trade for concessions. i believe the american government plans on selling high tech weapons to taiwan and of course china vehemently opposes that. regardless, i cant see the government conceding anything major other than leaving the plane behind. considering clinton gave them jumbo jet and nuclear weapons technology its no biggie. china has absolutely no respect.

Here's my view on China.
China is and always will be a dangerous country long as the people running it remains the evil sons of satan as they are now.

Let's put it this way, China didn't held their own against the US during the Korean war by using superior technology and command. The leaders of China held back the US with sheer man power. Tranlation, they are willing to throw away their man like piss water. Tells us alot about the morals of their government.

Judging from their past action, I don't think the governing body of China has any problem whatsoever starting a nuclear war. They'll be safe in their 2 mile deep bunkers while their rest of the Chinese citizen get rained upon with death from above. Remember, China does not need superior technology to threaten us. What they have is an unknow amount of nuclear capability perhaps matching ours or even surpassing us since they've been developing theirs uncheck.

To sum it up, China's technology might be out of date compared to us, but their communist party lead by 80 year old communists members who are completely reckless and willing to through away the lives of their poeple like piss water makes them very dangerous.

You know it funny. With all the bashing of the NRA and rednecks, it's thanks to them that the USA is probably the worlds most heavily armed country even without a millitary. Invade New York or the West Coast, fight your way through heavily armed city gangs. Invade the East coasts, get chew up by tobacco chewing Red Necks. We're unbeatable.

Let us not forget the crime belt also known as Topika Kansas.

The United States has a lot a fire power, but it also has a lot of people. I agree that one should not underestimate the power of China. They can fashon their whole country into an army at will, and throw them at us till we drown in blood.
