Thank you everyone very much for your kind thoughts. :)

I really appreciate it because I need to vent and you are about the only ones and place where I can do that. I know others here have had their share of tragedies too and don't always post about them. I don't mean to come across like I'm the only one with problems.

Then consider the Gulf area and all those suffering.

They did have to remove my brothers leg, just below his knee. Says he'll be there another 7-10 days then can go home. Once the stump heals and the swelling goes down, they'll fit him with a prosthetic lower leg and foot. Then learn to walk with it. He isn't happy at all but at least he has his life.

thanks again :)

Sorry to hear about your brother's accident and losing his foot but I'm glad to know that he's alive.

There's too many people in too much of a hurry these days. They're always speeding, weaving in traffic and trying to push red lights just to get somewhere a few minutes faster. They never consider the consequences until it's too late. :(

Sorry to hear about your brother Blade. I'm sure he doesn't feel it today, but he is certainly lucky. I've crashed motorcycles 4 times....thankfully never into something, just dumped 'em on the road (once was really, really stupid too....OMG you just wouldn't believe how stupid, I don't even wanna say). After the last crash, I swore 'em off and now I just crash my mountain bike.......

I hope your brother recovers quickly and accepts the loss of the foot in lieu of his life. They make some pretty high tech prostetics nowadays, I'm sure he'll get along just fine.
