Its all general principle. don't :p :p :p :ping steal my stuff or you will wind up beaten or dead. It don't matter if its a riced out civic or a VW phateon. Its the point that its yours and some jackass is stealing it. I would have shot the asshole too. This country's punishments are way to slack. send them to a 5 star prison let them out in 6 months and they are right back in cause they get busted doing the same thing. More people need to step up and do the same thing and make these lazy asses who would rather steal than make an honest living start to think twice.

LMAO is that a self proclaimed right? Right or wrong the state that you live in sees it different than you do.

send them to a 5 star prison

Ever been to any prisons in your neck of the woods?

I have visited clients in prison. I couldn't wait to get out. This 5-star prison stuff is all BS. Prisons are hell.

Speak for yourself on that one buddy :D ... I spent a weekend in a Phoenix jail for a bar fight and trust me at least in that jail the slop they put in front of me could hardly called 3 squares a day and sleeping on a metal cot with nothing besides the metal is hardly a warm plaice to sleep. Lucky for me the only marks I had on me from the fight were on my knuckles which were pretty bad, I guess Bubba thought I was a bad ass and left me alone.

Frankly, and I know I'll get flamed for this, he was in the wrong.

The law is quite clear. This was spelled out to me perfectly clear in my concealed weapon course.

You CAN'T shoot someone unless it's self-defense, or you believe that you or someone else is in imminent danger.

That didn't apply in this situation.

What the dumb f@ck should have done was threaten them with the gun (pure bluff) and at most fired in the air (could get charged with improperly discharging a weapon, but unless the cops are hard asses or a neighbor wants to file a complaint, it's not likely). Hopefully one or the other would scare the idiots into running and leaving the car alone.

This is why I keep my short-barrel pistol grip Mossberg 12 guage security combo handy. I'd grab that first before my revolver if I saw someone trying to rob my car. NOTHING get's someone's attention faster than the sound of a pump shotgun being chambered :)

I have to agree with you FP, but it seems that most of the time now, the scum bag could care less about your life and will shoot you anyway. There is no way to know for sure if he's got a gun or his fellow scum bag accompless has one.

My dad, who is 72, still works and he own's his own business. He deals with cash all the time (my dad as a problem with credit - hates it). He carries a gun in his car for this reason: 30 years ago, they would steal your money and let you go. Now they steal your money, steal your car, and kill you at the same time.

Probably what the guy should have done is to leave a pos pistol next to the scum bag and tell the cops he had a gun.
