What a shame. Was one of the finest voices in the Soul / R&B genre. Never was able to recover from a stroke he had a few years ago. Prayers go out to his family and friends.

R.I.P and Godspeed. :(

Never followed his music much but he always came across as as a good guy. Main thing I remember about him was it seemed every Raider home game I went to he sang the Anthem.

ya just a generally good guy. never was a R&B fan, but the man could sing like none other............... too young
