Pop vs. Soda Debate Rages On

i heard that Coke actually hired people to go out to restaurants and order a Coke... should they NOT get Coke when askin for a Coke, they take legal action or something.. just one of the things Coca-Cola does to keep the word "Coke" from being corrupted as a trademark

for those who are curious where i heard it.. it was in my business law class

I'm just going off what I heard in the Jamestown NY/Warren PA area...

was at a family reunion in Warren and this issue popped up...unfortunately we were the only ones not from the area so we were outnumbered

oh and I was always under the impression hoagie=sub greater that 12" long....

Coke where I grew up, which is South Alabama, and most people around where I live now, Atlanta, call it coke (gee what a surprise, Coca-Cola's headquarters are in Atlanta). I prefer Pepsi and Dew. Only Coke products I drink are Sprite, Pibb Xtra (Mr. pibb) and Cherry Coke. Vanilla Coke is alright but.....

Oh, by the way, Pepsi Blue is the nastiest drink ever.

lol, i heard that Coke really did contain Cocain in the 60'-70's
because it made it addicting or something....

I think it was in teh 20's or 30's part of the recipe was opium i believe. Was back in middle school when i learned that which was eons ago it seems like...
