Jesus I can't even LOOK at that frickin pic without shivering!! Cute my ass, spiders and most other bugs as well need to die flaming horrible deaths. I will go out of my way to kill a spider if it is anywhere near me. I don't where it is, inside, outside, doesn't matter. As long as it is dead!

cockroaches scare me as nothing else can. As far as spiders, anything that catches and kills mosquitos is ok in my book.

That's because in Florida, the cockroaches are the size of rats ;)
Seriously, they're huge down there. I remember being in a bar once in Tampa and although it was dark, I could see the 2" cockroaches all over the walls (didn't exactly make me feel cozy).
My first apartment in Wyoming also had huge 'butted' cockroaches and you could hear their legs scurry across the countertop. They were also VERY fast and could dissappear into cracks that you wouldn't think they'd fit through. I'd kill them by keeping a container outside the kitchen, put hot water in it and splash them with it which would stun them so I could squash them. Here in WI, they never get very big but they're still nasty. I once made the mistake of buying a used refrigerator that came with cockroaches in the compressor area (nice :( ) so I had to get rid of those right away. The used POS fridge didn't last long either, it was my last used fridge too.

When I was last in Florida we had a room on the bottom floor and it had a rear door leading to the pool and the beach. We left that rear door open at night for just a bit to let in the cool breeze and what looked to me like a large beetle scurried in. He was quick but we stunned him with lysol and then he went to that great big roach motel in hell. My brother insisted it was a roach. Damn, I never seen one that huge before.
