I had just downloaded ASF Recorder the other day and I am Lovin' it, downloading Music, Anime....everything!

The best feature is the fact that you can download streams that are bigger than your bandwidth and watch 'em instead of getting terriable video/audio just so it's "optimized" for your selected connection [and getting stupid "re-buffering" messages]. (while I have a cable modem, sometimes it isn't the most dependable connection, so some web shows and movies that I would watch online look terriable.)
Anyway, I want to be able to do the same thing with Real content, but the last place I saw a converter was just for content already on your Hard Drive to convert to another standard formats, not download streamed content.
And for anyone that is curious, I'm not doin' it to rip off companies of their content, I just am getting tired of having to sit in front of the computer and watch half-garbled content in this age of "high-speed access". Once it's on my HDD, I can then watch it anytime I want.....even plug my TV into my computer and watch it at my leasure.
Any suggestions?
