I'm In Trouble! You BURST MY BUBBLE! :D
Hey Gand1, No biggy.. lol.. I'm glad I know why the dial up connections always show that. I found it kind of strange. I did update the drivers one time and it slowed it down to my norm which is like 19300-24000.. But even if it's a false hype, I like it showin' me connected at 115200~ lol.. And I do...

Scsi
Ok.. Well, I'm gonna let you all know now, I'm here to learn! lol.. In a way. I know that SCSI and EIDE are two completely separate forms of data xfer. I also know that SCSI is supposed to be much faster than EIDE. In fact, I know it's faster. But the question is.. How Much Faster? Is it worth going...

How's this for weird...
Check this out.. I ALWAYS connect at 115200 when I dial up to my ISP. Mind you, it's only capable of 56k. And I have downloads that peak around 3.9k but are usually steady at 2.7k and I live in the BOONIES! Any idea how I can connect at that speed? lol.. I know the phone lines nor my ISP can support...

We May figure something out yet eh?
That is a very good idea.. I'd never though of that. But if the water was still gettin warmer in the bucket would the hot air in turn rise therefor warming up the foil and the air temp. in the bucket and creating condensation? lol.. We're getting pretty in depth on this.. :chicken

My Thoughts..
Ok.. I'm no genius (did I spell that right? lol) but here are my thoughts. While the whole bucket thing is a good sounding idea, like it's been pointed out, it can't be done without some kind of pump. Now, if you were to find a pump small enough and efficent enough to pressurize the bucket so that t...

Nothin' Against Raid..
Never said I had anything against raid. It was a question specific to Older hardware. I have a bunch of P200 systems I'm giving to friends and was curious about the possibilities. eGo

I wish today was the 1st!!
Man, I'd sure take this drive off your hands. If you still have it on the 1st I'll take it. Or, if you'll take this as my agreement for purchase it would be much appreciated. LMK.. If you can't wait it's cool.

¿Bumps?
Hey Guys.. Um.. Newbie Question here.. lol.. What are bumps for? I think I have the gist of it. You use them when people have something good to offer at decent rates. But why would you bump yourself? And what is the use of a bump? To let the thread poster know you're reading their thread? I know thi...

Multiple HD's to read as one?
Hey All, I've got a question, don't know if it's possible or not. I don't know much about raid, nor do I care to go that route. But I seem to remember when my dad bought his first PC 386SX (remember the days?) that he had bought a 1gb HD and had combined it with the original HD 100MB to make ONE HD?...
