Do you have a link for the TB Santa Cruz?

I've also looked into a Soundblaster Live! X-Gamer, but know one carries this one anymore. They all have the new Soundblaster Live! X-Gamer 5.1. I don't want the 5.1. Anyone know where I might be able to purchase the Soundblaster Live! X-Gamer?

I forgot about my speakers. I have Altec Lansing ACS56, so I don't have a 5.1 setup. On the spearkers, there is a port for FRONTS and SURROUNDS. So I don't even know if this is 4.1? What could I expect to pay for a SB Live?

Recommendations for a Sound Card

Hi guys, I'm in the market for a new sound card. I'm currently using an old Creative AWE 32 ISA. I'm going to be replacing my mobo shortly, and I won't have the extra ISA slot avaiable anymore. So I need a PCI sound card. I would like to spend less than $75 for a quality card. It will be mainly for ...

My god! I had no idea that ram was that cheap. I've must have been under a rock not to see the price drop. I'm probably going to pick up some more next month considering these prices.

I went to Crical (thanks for the link), and bought a 256 meg stick and a 128 meg stick for ~$75. Man, what a deal.

What places (vendors) do you recommend in buying some ram. I would like to get some 128 or 256 sticks since prices are so cheap.

I miss rock and roll
LOL so do I. I was born in 1955, so I lived through the wild hippy 60's, then really got into rock & roll in the 70's (graduated in 1973). IMHO, some of the best music came out in the 70's and 80's. Now all we have is rap crap.

I heard that Slash is no longer their lead guitar player. I had no idea they were back together, but without Slash and the other original members, they probably don't sound the same they did 10 years ago.

LOL! You guys need to read the first sentence:
A hint to the **** would be the first letter F and the last letter K. I'm sure you can fill in the rest of the word.

I don't think that PCA would allow that word, thus I placed the **** for you to FILL IN!

All your data belongs to Microsoft

All your data belongs to MS

Granted, this is The Register, it's still points out what MS is doing with Hotmail, MSN Messenager, and Passport. This is getting really bad like Spyware.

How do I get Quake1 to work with my new Gforce card?

Just like the topic says, how do I get Quake1 to work with my new Geforce GTS video card? Thanks UPDATE: I got it to work by removing the old opengl32.dll file from the Quake folder (must have been the one for the Voodoo1/2/3 card that I've owned. Now the only problem is the game is too dark. Even w...

Thanks for the tip on the custom.hpk file. Mine was 9 megs in size. I'm tempeted to make it read-only so it won't get so large in the future. Well, I tried to last 2 suggestions with the same results. I also posted my question in Planet Fortress Fourms and found out that several others have the same...

LOL FP! I've done most of the suggestions you tried, except for that NVIDIA utility nvmax. I've got that loaded, but left everything at defaults. I have an older Abit BH6 mobo, so I doubt it supports AGP 4x. Right now, I have it set at AUTO (it's default setting). Also, now this is really weird and ...
