From what I remember when I ran Deriks (about 2 days ago). You select the partition on the drive, and you select the method. There are about 7 options it has and it describes each one. Select the one you want and hit f10 to start and let it go
It shows its progress too

ok...gone through a few different programs on the UBCD....and nothing seems to work. At one part there was a Fat16 partition on it....but now it shows it all cleared and i still havs issues I have set it to auto, manual, LBA, large, etc... in bios, nothing changes it Tried different sized partitions...

Got a Seagate ST340016a used (40gig). Hooked it up, mobo sees it and recognizes the model. Run my win2k disk on it. Shows only 32xxx mb in there (which seems low for a 40gig harddrive). Create a partition and install windows on it. When it gets to 100% installed, it says it cannot install windows as...

Anyone else noticeing the buttons and such are different? Right now under everyones name in space that has the "profile, email, buddy" stuff, there are two different styles of buttons.
