New Year's Eve Fiasco

Took the wife to Universal CityWalk at Orlando. They were supposed to have Cheap Trick and Three Dog Night playing for New Years, free access to all the clubs, and dinner. Fucking rained like a SUMBITCH starting at 8pm. We got soaked, concert was cancelled, we wer happy to get home and get into dry ...

Did you make an image of the NTFS drive and save it to the FAT32 drive, or did you copy the drive? Making an image takes a lot longer than copying the drive because of the data compression. You CPU speed will GREATLY affect the time it takes to make an image. Also the speed of the controller (whethe...

I'm going to play some more today. The mod's definately a nice change of pace. I like the night maps with lots of cover and tunnels. Been having fun playing as a Gunner with an RPG, but I want to try some of the others. I still play DOD religiously. NOTHING better in my opinion, but this comes close...

Both will produce a performance hit. Aniso a minor one and AA a big one. AA smooths the jaggies (jagged edges that are artifacts of rendering a straight edge at an angle). Some poeple are willing to live with the performance hit and the necessary reduction in resolution in exchange for the loss of t...

FINALLY! A Vietnam Half-Life Mod: Tour of Duty

I've been playing this mod a couple of days. It's awesome. SO much fun playing NVA and sneaking around in tunnels.

Lot of things to like in this mod - you can set booby traps!!!

So far, the maps have been excellent.
