These were sliced tomatoes too. Many news stories I heard didn't specify that little tidbit. Whole tomatoes were fine.

Many Republicans wanted Romney or Thompson. They decided to drop out halfway through the primaries and we're left with this. Truth be told, I didn't want Bush II. I was pulling for Elizabeth Dole before she dropped out. This election reminds me of the South Park Episode where they were choosing a ne...

I have a few CFL's in the house. They're okay. I like being able to run an higher equivalent wattage due to them not getting as hot as an incandescent. I'm really looking forward to LED bulbs. I have a few LED flashlights and they are the brightest ones I own. I wish everyone would quit getting frea...

Exactly. In fact the auto companies hate the oil industry right now. Gas prices are hurting car sales.

True that, but it doesn't seem like the automakers are really taking things seriously yet. I mean, my friggen 12 year old car gets better milage than the hybrids. What's up? Part of the problem is weight. Our govenmnent mandates that cars must survive a 45mph crash into a wall and have enough airba...

You couldn't use tapwater in the long term. There's too many contaminates like calcium, iron, etc.. You would eventually gunk up your system. The reason I call BS is that automakers would be putting systems on cars if they worked.

This is not the answer to the problem. The tracks need longer shutdown areas. Even if the track were 1000 feet, Scott Kalita still would have died. His parachutes were on FIRE! I also have a problem with slowing the cars down. This is drag racing! As the speeds increase, the technology will evolve t...

There is usually ice forming on the intake manifold and compression ratios on dirt track engines are usually very high (cept the cheap a$$ dirtballers). I alcohol-fuel dragsters, the crew will actually spray de-icer on the butterflys after the burnout because if they don't, there's a chance they wi...

80MPG 1987 Ford Mustang Produces 400 Horsepower

80MPG 1987 Ford Mustang Produces 400 Horsepower Maybe Ford should take a look at Doug Pelmear’s 1987 Ford Mustang before the 2010 Mustang rolls off the assembly line. According to him he has been able to re-engineer his Mustangs engine to produce 400 Horsepower and 500 Torque while improving his ga...
