Its the speed of the eye movement that prevents it from the uncanny valley.... that and the teeth look good. The blinking is still a bit slow but I agree its not offensive to look at.

I have had rentals with that feature... thats why the bottle of water is wedged in there so the car thinks your hands are still on the wheel. if it detects no feedback from the wheel it will alarm out. That car was never meant to be self driving. It just lane assist and on some cars its down right h...

If you want to practice on some 3d printed PLA stuff I have a tank that could use some color. I printed mine much larger than https://imgur.com/gallery/NKXjQwB this one and used higher detail. And if it gets messed up I can just print another.

Its a hopped up Ender 3. The original Ender 3. But I have completely replaced most of it with upgraded hardware... It worked fine in stock form. I never had any issues with it. For as long as I have been into model railroading I have never owned an Air brush. I need to get one because of all the stuff I 3D print that would look way better if painted... some day. Let me know how it goes I have zero experience as well.
