Re: New Geforce 364.47 driver causing crashes

I run the GeForce Experience but generally ignore it when it comes to driver updates for my GTX 960. Currently running 359.00 and it's rock solid stable on Win10, so see no need to move forward unless something changes.

Re: replacement headlights & Dremel parts

Unfortunately, as was the case with both my Chevy Cavalier and my Pontiac Sunfire I had, there's not much you can do when the -inside- of the headlight fogs up. Either try and take it apart and probably ruin it, or replace it.

Re: Volkswagen CEO may have known about defeat device scandal in 2014

As a (not so proud) owner of a 2012 VW Golf (non-diesel, 5 banger), this cheeses me off. Yes, I don't have the diesel or the issues, but I watched my car's value tank just a couple of months after I bought it because of this. ALL VW owners were affected by this asshattery.

Re: Welcome!

Just a heads up that my old password did not work. It might be because it was ridiculously complicated since it was a randomly generated super long password but can't be sure.

Either way was able to do a 'Forgot my password' reset and we're back up and running!

I use Google Drive with Boxcryptor for encryption, and I barely use a fraction of the free storage. All I use it for is for my absolutely must-have documents, pictures, etc. Everything else, I keep backed up on an external HD.

Used to work with Sophos back when I used to work on Macs at my old job. Mac client seemed pretty decent if I remember right. No idea about PC side though.

Get rid of it while you're still semi-ahead. That thing has been giving you nothing but problems for years now. All the money you've been putting into that clunker could have made several car payments by now.

While a clean install of my game system would be simple, it took me two weeks to setup my last workstation 5 years ago. I literally have a ten page checklist I used last time. I have a lot of programs with very specific settings and configs. I am not looking forward to my next upgrade. Milking this...

I still haven't even gotten my chip cards yet, for anything. Waiting patiently, but might have to start calling around at the beginning of the year.

I usually do a full reinstall of Windows anywhere from 6 months to a year just out of habit. I pretty much use it for gaming and web browsing, and all of my important files are on Google Drive using Boxcryptor for encryption, and I back up files every month or so. Not to difficult to just wipe, rein...
