I've never heard of a mobo not liking it. What you have to watch out for is running out of IRQs or IRQ sharing problems. You should try to put the new card in a slot that doesn't share an IRQ with anything else. If you have a lot of PCI cards that may be difficult. Sometimes you get two cards that d...

Yes, common wisdom is definately leaning to one stick for overclockers.

There definately seems to be a stability issue sometimes when overclocking with multiple sticks.

Desktop-wise, Win2K is identical to Win98. You'll find everything in the same places (except for settings - some of those have moved around a bit, like the Device Manager). I've seen that in all versions of Windows with a variety of apps - usually it means the program was executed twice for some reason. Maybe you dragged a shortcut for it into your Startup folder? You don't need to. MSN starts on Windows boot automatically via a registry RUN entry, so if you put it in ...

If it works fine with one stick and not the other then you have to assume you have a bad stick. Some other suggestions: - If you're overclocking, don't and see if that helps. - Try setting the ram settings in BIOS to their safe defaults. - See if there's a BIOS update. As for the DVD, does this happ...
