How do you change a picture to a icon file or an icon to a picture saved on comp?

Most of ya'll should get a kick of this I have a computer at work and all it is used for is service manuals. It is a bare bones sys. But the hd only 4.3 GIG not big enough to install new manual. I did not want to wait on shipping but wanted cheep 20 GIG. Found oly one in town at computer store !!USE...

wow that was pretty informative. Three hours later (thanks to slow ### dial up and related links in site) I am alot better informed. I guess I have been pretty lucky none of my computers have ever been infected very badly.
