I have a 4 yr old and by accident I let her start typing on word, turns out it helps with letters & words. We will evently get some kiddie software but for now does any body know of a way to make ms word the only thing accessible to a user?

when I try to change icon on desk top - browes and get path I get error message that says no icon files in folder. But if right click on folder and properties file type is icon file. WTF?
any explenations?

I tried putting - .ico - at the end of file name and saved. Now image has icon file type
I think it will work.

I tried that but it would only let me pick from a list (not type in .ico) and icon files was not one of the selections. Ieven tried shrinking to 32x32 and still did not work

anymore good idears?

Oh... I am running xp pro

Can it be done without software? It is not something I want to spend money on but most of the free stuff looks like adware
