2003-06-11 21:10:21 EST: 1583 / 163 Your download speed : 1583123 bps, or 1583 kbps. A 193.2 KB/sec transfer rate. Your upload speed : 163599 bps, or 163 kbps. Seems like broadband .. above the 1mbit barrier! Not too shabby for my Comcast... Additional question: What is the fastest you've ever downl...

Well, according to BIOS, it is a little above 60 C. Is there some other monitoring program I can use to figure out temps?? It seems that my system has become hotter after the new heat sink and fan were installed. To answer your questions Nathan: 1) Yes I did apply grease on the core. 2) Yes the fan ...

More troubles on the way...
They were bound to come, and now they have. After messing around for over a month, I finally installed the rest of my fans and new heat sink/CPU fan. However, after this got done, my computer has started to experience random rebooting. A friend has tried to run games such as BF1942 and DOD, but it e...

So additional questions as I am thinking of them. First, I know there are both analog and digital input signals. What is the major difference, will I need anything special for either, and which is recommended? Also, I thought i heard you are supposed to run an LCD at its recommended resolution. What...

Purchases to be made, advice needed
Alright, since I'm about to go spend some more of my money I thought I'd get some advice first. The first thing I am looking for is a LCD monitor. I'm thinking it will probably be either 15 or 17 inches, but it all depends on price. I'd be using it for games, movies, and word processing, so any reco...

I've had Comcast as an internet provider for a couple years, and i used to have problems with a bad modem, but this problem seemed to just started occuring about a month or two ago (I'd had the new modem and router so several mont...

Oddity of my net connection
I connect to the net via cable modem (service by Comcast). Since there are three computers in the house, we got a router to give them all internet access. However, lately I have either not been able to access the internet or it crawls like no other. The one time we called for tech support (a fun exp...

XP Installation
Okay, I basically scraped my parents comp and gave them my old Tbird 1Ghz rig. When I switched everything over, i got that awful blue screen saying something was f'ed up. After much trouble, I finally just wiped the drive and then tried to install XP Pro. EVERYTIME I have started the installation, i...

Half Life Problems
I've been having the problem that whenever I switch servers, Half Life shrinks itself to 1/4 my screen and then freezes there. I am running 2000 and a Radeon 8500 128. I tried the ATI fix for Half Life, and all that did was make it so whenever I joined a server the game crashed. Anyone have any idea...

Sorry to be indecisive, but I will do both anytime. I agree with Doc, some thing like Azumanga should never be translated (too much cultural stuff to make sense to us stupid Americans :p ) Honestly, with some shows, it is just which I see first, sub or dub, that decides which I like better. But for ...
