i tried the pencil again when i got home - no go - ordered some of that defroster window stuff too :) - if i can find a decent magnifier i'll try that and then razor off the excess -

the only thing i'm running on mine is the voltages and the cpu temp - i have all my fans running off regular power connectors, not mb headers. i bought my fop38 from 2cool and he strongly recomended not using mobo headers - what kind of temps/what fan on your tbird, evil? my duron 840 for now is 25c...

abit kt7, 128 mb transcend -7.5 on cheap pcb, old ensonic pci sound, intel 10/100 nic, genuine 16 mb tnt2 vanta :) , 300w powermax, duron 700 fop38 ok, still not smart enough to do the pencil trick - used all the pencils in the house (kids eat them, saliva may -prevent overclocking) but it's stable ...

finally got my kt7/duron 700 up and running too. for some reason ity wasn't happy until it reformatted the hd and reinstalled me - go figure - now i have to find my wife's magnifying loup so i can try the pencil trick again - i i can get to a gig i'll put my gts in there and run some fps!

won't boot from the ide - and i busted my only extra floppy cable in a fit of nearsightedness (these little connectors are a bitch when you can't see very well) at least i'm getting stable posts - i'll dig around tomorrow and scrounge a cable from one of the other machines and see if i can get a boo...

i have one i've just taken out of the box - i'll post my experiences - can't help you yet - i got hung up initially because i thought my ata 66 hd had a primary parttition on it but it wwasn;t found - going back to try with an old reliable maxtor ide - will let you know what happens -

just got this - lots of cool commentary and extra stuff - the opening scene where they use the fire catpults, etc. was shot in england in an area scheduled for deforestation - they just did it the old fashioned way!
