I've been running the LG G Stylo. Not high end by any standards, but a nice phablet that does the job with great battery like and included Stylus. LG has done a good job at updating it as well. Ya, I used it before for a game that went cheaper on sale within the time frame. It is a useful feature. Better than Google Play gives you just 2 hours, which counts the time you spend downloading the game. Might spend half of it downloading some larger games.

One thing to note is that some games are cheaper when purchased as a bundle and you might only have one game in said bundle but cannot purchase it because you have one of the games in that bundle. So it may be cheaper to toss your existing game to buy it as a bundle, then get each of the other games...

Ya, I've had to use that a lot for Windows XP and Vista. Not really much at all since then though.
