How to add shortcuts to this area of Open Shell
I don't see an option to add programs to this real estate that is circled in red in Open Shell. The only options I can see when I right click on a program is to pin it to the taskbar or to the start menu where I currently have 3 already. I can delete them but don't see an option to add any. https://...

WTB - empty mobo boxes
I've accumulated 2 mobo's that I don't have a mobo box for them. I know I can use a medium flat rate box, but it's not the type of box I prefer. So just wondering if anyone has any empty mobo boxes they want to get rid of or sell. I can pay for shipping.

Re: Windows 10 does not like old hardware
Guess what? Stupid me - when you get blue screens, it's a good hunch that its the ram. Sure enough - I ran memtest and 2 of the 4 sticks were bad with LOTS of errors. That is what I get for buying cheap ram.

Re: Windows 10 does not like old hardware
Well I have 7 home installed and we will see if it still has problems. If it crashes, then it's a hardware issue with the mobo. I got another uses one coming. It's a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H (rev. 1.1). It will come with an i5 cpu and 8 gigs of ram, and a 250 gig SSD. with that said, I'm looking at get...

Re: Supreme Court rejects GOP bid to nullify Biden win in Pennsylvania
The Electoral College meets on Monday to finalize it. If they say Biden wins, I wonder what Trump will do.

Windows 10 does not like old hardware
I have an old Asus P5K-E with wifi mobo that is +10 years old. I had it saved in a box. I installed windows 10 pro as a fresh install, version 1909 with no issues. I then gave the setup to my father-in-law in September. The system already has thrown 2 blue screens during updates, and another blue sc...

Re: PC for Father-In-Law
I just built for my 88 year old father-in-law a simple desktop from my old hardware. He is not a gamer so it made the decision easy. I gave him a 10 year old Asus motherboard that I used with windows 7. Never had an issue with the board, but it did need a new bios battery. Really the only new piece ...

Re: why I hate Christmas time .
Fixed... I have to brake hard, toss my beer out the window, air out the car from smoking a joint, then having to eat the joint to get rid of the evidence, fasten my seat belt, throw my phone on the floor, turn my radio down, and push the gun under the seat. All while trying to drive. I'm done with c...

Re: The awesome Coolermaster 212 Tower CPU cooler
I still have a couple of those Coolmaster heatsinks that I've used. I really like the plate that attaches to the motherboard which is very secure in mounting such a beast.
