Got a firewire card. Dunno nothing about it. It was part of a package deal for services rendered. I'm guessing about $40 for the thing, but I think that may be a little expensive. Send me an email and I'll give you a bit more info on it.

I['m guessing its the processor that is the bottle neck in your system. Go with drivers that work the best, regardless of age. Hell, when I was running WIN 98 I was running Det version 6.34's. The latest Quake update is 1.31. Check it out.

I downgraded my drivers to the 6.34 version and that seems to have done the trick! Everything works great now. No more rolling lines and lock ups.

I flashed my bios about 1 month ago, so i am assuming it is the most recent version. I'am running the 6.50 drivers which i downloaded from Invidia's website and I installed them correctly... At least my Device Manager says I am running the most recent version of Invidia's drivers. The rest mentioned...

What are dets? dets=drivers? No serious tweakig to my registry. Haven't used power strip. Don't know what it is!
