it really doesn't matter. if page file performance is affecting your game/load times, then you are in dire need of more RAM.

I saw this thing at CES. It's an interesting concept, but the "stitching" between the separate displays was distracting. I tend to agree with Shacknews's take.

I spent this week in Lost Wages... er, I mean Las Vegas, and it was actually cooler there than it was here. freaky.

No real point right now. Driver support is still sketchy (especially with things like printers and TV tuner cards.) plus, the lack of 16-bit support means some applications which use old versions of Installshield might not install. I wager it'll be best to wait for Vista before looking at going 64-b...

I was wondering if you could use a 2 Gig USB 2 flash drive for the virtual memory page file instead of the hard drive. I think Windows will let you, but it's a horrible idea. I would hope it would be faster than a hard drive since it's solid state. Flash memory is a lot slower than you seem to thin...

right. K8 is very latency sensitive, and the increased latency of DDR2 just thrashes it.
