A7V boot up problems

basically after the post screen the computer ends up on a black screen that reads:

press any key to reboot

can anyone tell me how to fix this???? :(

I heard many ppl use the everglide mouse pads...but I think the 3M mousepads are even better (especially for optical mices). Everglide slides off too much IMO. wt r ur suggestions? did u try clean installing your system? did u overclock anything? if u did, set them in their default clockspeeds and see if it runs better

well....I'm trying to burn FIFA2001 and NBA2001 but the safelocks on those CDs don't allow me to burn them. Any suggestions???

hm...I fixed it...I just messed around with my enternet300 (the software I use to "dial-up" to my adsl ISP) settings and it works...oh well. my TCP/IP is set to auto obtain IP and yes there is such thing as a dial up adsl. My ADSL service gives me a different IP everytime I logon =)

hmmm...I'm using a dial-up ADSL connection at home on this computer. I'm not sure whether it uses DHCP or not but I'm using it anyway. what exactly is static IP? do I just put in any random IP address in my computer?

Network card slowing down windows loading time

I upgraded my computer lately. everything is running fine except for the really long boot up times I'm getting (2 minutes) from turning on the computer till windows... I take out my network card. wala! it boots up sooo much faster. is there anything I can do to solve this problem?

ok, don't matter wt the mobo is now. I just got a Asus A7A266 DDR board to go with my Tbird. It's running fine and no crashes. It's at 61.5 C though, is that normal temperature for a 1.2ghz Tbird? also...I'm experiencing EXTREMELY long Windows loadups. Can anyone tell me why? Windows never loaded so...

I'm suspecting that I have an A7V (one with KT133 not KT133a) so I probably have to get a new DDR Motherboard. Can you guys recommend me the best one right now on the market? thx :) and also. Would my PC150 rams work on the DDR board? or would I have to get another set of ram
