Re: Mail Server (personal)
What are you paying for these hosted servers to run your own mail server? The cheapest M365 license will get you a 50GB mailbox and basically unlimited shared mailboxes, if you need other send-as accounts. $5/month: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/business/microsoft-365-business-basic?...

Re: Homeowner targeted in NW Miami-Dade home invasion, shootout shares ordeal
That's the first thing I thought of as soon as I saw her social media lifestyle. This day and age...wouldn't be surprised at all. Heck, they are even questioning the story of that ex-nanny mom that went missing while hiking. She magically survived for 10+ days without food OR water (she said she did...

Re: SFF (re)build recommendations
The m-stx case I have now uses an external power brick, like a laptop would have. I don't need it to be that small, so I'll check out the micro or mini itx/atx options.

SFF (re)build recommendations
I'm looking for a small form factor case/mobo to transplant a i7-7700 (socket 1151) and Crucial (8GBx2) DDR4 2400 (PC4-19200) SODIMMs into. Separate or barebones is fine, but was hoping someone has experience with a reliable option. I was using a ASRock DeskMini 110 (micro-STX...5" x 5" ca...

FS: Ubiquiti 1Gbps Copper to SFP modules
It's been over a year since there was a FS post...here we go: Long shot on here since I haven't seen too many posts about Ubiquiti, but anyone need any 1Gbps copper SFP (not SFP+) for their router/switches? I have a bunch of like new/new that have gone unused (never installed in a switch, but may ha...

Bitlocker right-click option to lock drive
I never noticed a manual bitlocker lock option missing from the right-click menu, but wanted to add it. Found the below method, which works well: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/37432-add-lock-drive-context-menu-bitlocker-drives-windows-10-a.html I use an internal drive for local Veeam backups t...

Re: No longer getting post notifications via email
The messages are being sent by a mail server in the c2.dal.innoscale.net domain, but adding the Penguinblog.com in the FROM header. The FROM header is what mail clients like Outlook use to show who the message was from, which is what spoofers use to trick people all the time. The MAILFROM header is ...

+1 on the 1903 stability. I've done about 20+ in-place upgrades and a handful of fresh 1903's and haven't had a single issue.

Re: No longer getting post notifications via email
Thanks, Darcy. You can delete that header info if you want (you left your email address in there in a few spots)...I got what I needed. I also found the email a thread option on the boards here...never noticed that before. I sent a few tests and they are marked as spam because of this: Authenticatio...

Re: No longer getting post notifications via email
My bet is that the sending email system is not authorized to send as the pcabusers.org domain (if that's the domain it's trying to send from?). The domain's SPF record is: v=spf1 a mx ip4:208.65.200.160 ?all If that IP is not the current SMTP server's source IP, then that's why the messages are bein...

Re: Adding a "hot spot" to a existing network
I glanced through that software and wow is it a finicky mess. Not sure if this is exactly what you are seeing, but in this vid, the guy shows the wifi config screen and it is missing (or at least grayed out) the station mode settings, then he clicks around and it appears. I didn't try subtitles, in ...
