dsl question

I have dsl at home. I was wondering if I can unhook the modem and over to my friends place? Will I be able to connect at his house with my username and password? Does my ISP need to enhance the line first or should I just be able to connect like dial up?

Rdram

I'm have some RDRAM(Rambus) in my Pc 2x256 and 2x128. I have a utility that says the ram speeds are 300 mhz and 400 mhz. What would be the name of these modules? Are they pc600 and pc800?
