Asus P4r800-vm Radeon Based M/b

Looking at the ASUS P4R800-VM, it seems that Intel and ATI have formed a rather tight relationship, does this however, imply that the ATI series video cards will perform better using these specialty chipsets. if any one knows anything refuting or supporting this, please reply.

Cutting aluminium blowholes

i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on cutting a 8" blowhole through 0.7mm aluminium, any special tools i should be using or just the plain ol' multi-purpose.

Pixel shading is a very important thing, and i was wondering if Nvidia can fix there pixel shader through software patches, or is it soley dependant on the hardware shader pipeline? i know ATI have a very good 8bit shader pipeline, and i was wondering which would be better value, 9800pro, or 5900PV,...
