Cool thanks for the info. The grills are just whats on the cae. I didnt liek add any or anything. the inside is pretty neet but there are definitly some wires stickign out here or there. Thanks for any more replies :D

Circulation problem

Ok so when i leave the case open my cpu runs at about 45 C on load, but when it is shut it hits 60 :( I have two case fans; one in the front and one in the back. Somone gave me the tip to dust it out a couple days ago and ya that did lower it from the like 57 it was at, but I'd liek to thank you all for your help. WIth proper case circulation and reapllying my thermal grease I was able to get the temp down to 44 at load and 41ish at idle :) thanks guys!

I'm not overclocking and the board i am using is the Gigabyte 7dxe I think. I'm checking the temp through the bios and through some software(easy tune). The software temp is usually about 4 degrees lower than the bios temp which is scary. Considering when my software temp says 55 its really 59 :X Fo...

Woah thanks for the tips. I never knew there was so much to applying thermal compound :0. What do you think of the Volcano 9? And who makes those heatsikns you posted? Is it thermal lite? I think thats what I remeber at least some of them being. I'm gonna try to reapply the grease in a propper fashi...

K i can't get my cpu to run under like 51C idle and 55C load. It's an AMD xp 1700 and I'm about ready to give up :( I got a new heatsink and fan combo brand: Dr.Thermal.
