yes it still sees it as dvd-rom

i was hoping that this was not the case .what do you recomend as a good replacement pref one that i can make region free

i have a dvd/cdrom and all was working well . i was converting a dvd to vob files when the cat jumped onto the keyboard and all froze . cntrl/alt would not work so i took dvd out and rebooted . THE problem now is that dvd/cdrom wont read any dvd disc i tried system restore but no luck . the dvd/cdro...

i did try easy cd creator but it seems to loose a bit of picture quality

is there any software out there that will let me burn a vcd ,with photos as a slideshow and put music or put comentery to it , also add titles . i want to play the vcd on any stand alone dvd player that can play vcd .

i have rebooted but no cigar i will try elsewhere thanks again

there is no problem with getting the dvd player on tv . the problem is getting it to display the movie itself i can hear the soundtrack but no see the movie

i do have power dvd 4 and there is the same problem there. i can watch the dvd on the computer but when i make all the changes to watch on the television i cannt see the picture but i hear the sound

i have done all the updates to boty wmp & power dvd

i want to watch a dvd on my television through via windows media player as i dont have a stand alone dvd player . i enable all things needed to but all i get on tv is the audio of dvd and the window media skin
WHY IS THERE NO PICTURE on the television

hi thanks for the prompt reply do you know of any controllers that can indicate what voltage they set at and can be adjusted between 0-12 volts

on the controls does it indicate at what voltage it is set at also does it have any software with it
