My duron @ 1 gig cranks one out in about 4:35. This is using the WinNT command line version 3.0. The WinNT command line version is much faster than the graphical win9x version, and it works fine in anything above windows 95. I am probably wrong, but I don't think AMD makes a socket A T-bird 650. I'm saying this because I was looking at thier approved motherboards, and there was no option for a socket a 650.

This is probably a Slot A.
