Agree with Predator, might have to play around for XP to see WIN98 Plus....excuse me....ME, but it will work. Slight difference in how they utilize authentication between each other. XP really wants to use Active Directory. Take a gander at this site and see if it helps or at least points you in rig...

I have a Samsung Syncmaster 770 TFT and have played Quake, Return To Castle Wolfenstein, IL 2 Sturmovik, etc on it at 1280x1024 with no problems. Rather nice in fact. However, this is utilizing an GeForce2 MX 100/200 card on a PIII 550 system. Will be trying on a GeForce3 Ti500 this weekend Dual Xeo...

Been a while since I played with this, but.... DocSilly was correct on transmission rates regarding actual speed. I was going to ask WHY?, but I saw your later mail regarding file transfers. One of the first things to do is remove autosence in the nic's properies. Dependent on OS, ya get there diffe...

I use both Sandra and FreshDiagnose. FreshDiagnose is free ware from http://www.freshdevices.com/ That way you get two benchmarks from 2 different programs.. Each one has its own quirks. I used Sandra on my dual PIII 1ghz Xeon box and it said it was a dog. Ran FreshDiagnose and it showed I had a kil...
