I have an XP1600 (still locked) running on an ABIT KR7A RAID. I have it running at 1610 MHz (XP1900 equiv) at 153 MHz system clock x10.5 (=306.75 MHz FSB). Core V at 1.76V. Runs at 37 deg C unloaded, 45 deg C loaded (Prime95 test). SO you have plenty of steam left in your 1700 ! Give it good cooling...
