I saw this movie in theatres, even though I didn't want to. I wasn't expecting much, but I was treated to a decent movie, that although quite perdictable, was an enjoyable way to spend 2 hours. For $11.99 why not give it a try? Mark Whalberg does a great job, and it's funny to watch the 80's stuff.

I can't believe Greta Fugly isn't winning this hands down.......

For anyone who has seen this film, do you happen to know what the music is that plays when the end credits are rolling? It's not on the soundtrack which I bought, and it's not listed anywhere. It's a firmilliar song, but one for which I don't know the name.

bitslap, I read in the paper earlier in the year, that the US had in fact been spying on Canada. Apaprently, CSIS discovered the security breach and they made a report on it. Everyone spies on everyone. It's just a way of life I guess. It's almost a little tradition to jokingly make fun of Americans...

Wow, you guys should really rent it. It's a great movie with a great cast, and unlike other based-on-a-true-story movies, it actually doesn't take too much liberty with what happened.

Just don't buy the special edition DVD set!

Yes, I have Shawshank Redemption on VHS. Lots of great acting in that film.

Has anyone else bought this? It's a 2 disc with fullscreen on one and widescreen on the other. Director's audio commentary as well as PIP video commentary by Freeman, Broderick and the director. Also a bunch of other things, that all sound great on paper, but it just doesn't turn out to be so great ...

Actually, ATi has a deal with a local gentleman, who then turns around and sells them to a store in downtown Toronto called Above All Electronics. The guy who runs the store, says this arrangement is ongoing, so I plan on picking up a Radeon 2 MAXX for next to nothing, when it comes out

My friend dropped them (I still don't know how) and they fell into this huge drift of snow. He then covered the hole where they went in 'by accident' while he was trying to dig them out, so I don't have a good idea of where they ended up. Looks like I'll have to recover them in the spring. Life suck...
